someday/maybe - personal

Just finished weekly review over the weekend.

I keep two someday/maybe lists beside one another; one for work related items and one for personal items.

I notice, as usual, that the personal someday/maybe list is by far the longest list in my entire organiser. It seems that we have to employ the maximum of dexterity and ingenuity – the best exploitation of sporadic opportunities - to get to do the things we really want to do.

Anyone else find this?

getting to the personal tasks

Yes. Especially for people whose work includes caring for others such as one's children or parents. But, the good news is that you can make "following up on my perosnal interests" a project in itself. Start with writing the desired outcome and then the n/a in its context. Who knows where this might take you!
