tip: Waiting For in Gmail

When you compose a new message in Gmail, there is no option to apply a label to the message until after it has been sent. If you are using a "Waiting For" label in gmail and would like to apply the label to an email you have just sent, you do not have to go to the Sent folder to label it...

1. Compose a new email and send
2. When Gmail comes back to the inbox, click "View Message" (right above the inbox)
3. Apply your Waiting For label

If you plan to immediately label a sent mail with the @Waiting for label, you can include yourself as a recipient with "+Waiting" added to you email address

"first.last+Waiting@gmail.com" and set up a rule to apply the label and archives it right out of your in box.

PHP:
Matches: to:(first.last+Waiting@gmail.com)
Do this: Skip Inbox, Apply label "@Waiting For"
