Why My GTD Setup Broke When I Tried Bullet Journaling

I tried blending GTD with a bullet journal, and something felt off right away. The issue may change how you plan your day and track your tasks.

Amazing video! To me, bullet journaling is essentially GTD without all the pieces in place. Even so, it’s an incredibly useful system and one that served me well for years. Where it falls short is in the areas that make GTD so powerful: clarifying inputs, managing reference material, and conducting a thorough, holistic review. Without those elements, it never quite becomes a complete system.
