Hello, think you should check out Todoist? There is a web-, Windows-, and Macapp, too. So you can use it from any device, and it is very user-friendly. In my opinion, the learning curve is not too steep, and the price for the annual subscription is reasonable.

Todoist is my usual go-to if you want something web-based. MyLifeOrganized if you want something desktop app-based with all the bells and whistles like OmniFocus (they have a mobile app for both iOS/iPadOS and Android)

Thank You all for your suggestions, I heard a lot about Todoist. Actually I looking for an app that will integrate with my note taking app or I just can manage my tasks from the app only, do you have any suggestions for this?

What exactly are you looking for?

I‘m fine with Nirvana.

A note taking app also manage my task.
One thing I can say right away: with many options you would be compromising on some aspect of GTD. For example, there is an Apple-only app called Agenda which tries to do it all. I find it convoluted, unintuitive, and not GTD-friendly at all, but it has a following. Probably the most flexible option is Obsidian, which has a sizable learning curve. Assembly is mandatory- you would most likely be building a system to suit your needs. Some similar apps have some of the same features. There are some apps around which are not widely used which offer an off-the-shelf solution. These may be platform-specific, subject to strong developer preferences, and may not be in active development. Personally I find it sufficient to take notes in my GTD list app, augmented by a compatible note app. In my case this is Things 3 and Bear, which are Apple-only.

It ccan be, but it can also be very, very simple. After all, it's just markdown files with links
It is a good app but not for me. I don't like its reliability on plugins for every task, and I like handwriting more than typing. I have researched Obsidian and I saw that it also supports handwriting but with the help of different plugins, which I have found that is not as good as the other note taking apps, which I can understand why, because Obsidian is not meant for handwriting. So that is my opinion

For those of us with abysmal handwriting this is a feature not a bug or drawback.

Yes, you are this is a feature not a drawback, and this perfect for people who prefer typing over handwriting, but as I mentioned before I prefer handwriting over typing. So can we integrate GTD methodology with handwritten note taking like goodnotes and notability?

OneNote has a very orderly structure of notebooks, sections, and pages to further break down information for note-taking with seemingly infinite expansion. You can keep your notebooks on your local drive or in the cloud (depending on the version). OneNote can translate handwriting into text, and it is cross-platform, although there may be limitations with mobile devices.

One Note could be considered a Lists program, which as I recall, David Allen says is all one needs for GTD. OneNote could also be used as a task manager, but it may be too limited for some. It probably would require you to design how you would get the functionality you want, which is not like learning a programming language but is more like learning MS Word (i.e., a lot easier).

However, I believe it does not have any way to set due dates, start dates, or recurrence dates, which for some would be essential. I did read that tasks can be linked to Outlook. YouTube has a number of free tutorials that can help youo get up to speed. The software is also free, so you can check it out.

@big_puppy Conciliate note taking and task manager can be quiet touchy. It depends on what you really want, the software you like and how you want to do with it also if you want something working on Mac only or with Mac / PC. Here are a few option and my advices. First ask your self what is the most important for me : Task or notes ?
- You could use Omnifocus it is a cross platform you can use it online but it Mac only. It is great for GTD. It's learning curve mais be touchy at the beginning but it can be set simply. Take the pro version for getting perspectives.
- To do ist is it competitor. Very well done, I'd a monthly/ yearly paid you it works very well. It is affordable.
Both of the solution can have link to another software
- Note taking and taking manager could be notion. I hate it but it is free. Its learning curve is difficult. It takes time. Notion can do everything. It is also an online solution like todoist.
- Nirvana is a GTD friendly app. Perfect for GTD better than anyone for me but it miss the power of perspective (= sorting informations)
- Evernote can do the job but I hate it and it is too expensive. It is imagined for taking note. Also think about what will I do If I want to use another software and use my previous datas ? Evernote accept only per file not by folders. It client support is awful sadly. Evernote used to be very good but it is for me far away from some of his competitors.
- Prefer it Obsidian. Much better. Free, sync (you could use iCloud) it .md files eg .txt it is the perfect system for note taking and can work for GTD if you know how to make it. There are so good article on the web and may be here I think but I dont know where. There is a paid version but it is for jeeks.

My own way, as I explained somewhere else I use Omnifocus. I know it by heart. It is very powerfull. And for note taking I use apple note. I make a link from one to the other it works very well.

If I could not use Omnifocus, perhaps I may choose todoist. They have made so much progress and are so good for a good price that it worth it however using it on day to day is more complex than using Omnifocus. So a very good solution could be Obsidian. Obsidian is an astonish software. It is a not taking app but you can make link and document everywhere inside and outside the app. I love it. So I would probably chose it instead of Todo ist except it they add new function I need.

Hope that's help your choice and be back to us to explain what you choose and why and how is it going...
