What exactly are you looking for?Thank You all for your suggestions, I heard a lot about Todoist. Actually I looking for an app that will integrate with my note taking app or I just can manage my tasks from the app only, do you have any suggestions for this?
I‘m fine with Nirvana.Hello, I'm looking for an app that will manage my task and which allows me to combine GTD methodology and that can work on different devices because I've iPad and an android smartphone. So I want it to run my all devices.
Thank You![]()
A note taking app also manage my task. What exactly are you looking for?
One thing I can say right away: with many options you would be compromising on some aspect of GTD. For example, there is an Apple-only app called Agenda which tries to do it all. I find it convoluted, unintuitive, and not GTD-friendly at all, but it has a following. Probably the most flexible option is Obsidian, which has a sizable learning curve. Assembly is mandatory- you would most likely be building a system to suit your needs. Some similar apps have some of the same features. There are some apps around which are not widely used which offer an off-the-shelf solution. These may be platform-specific, subject to strong developer preferences, and may not be in active development. Personally I find it sufficient to take notes in my GTD list app, augmented by a compatible note app. In my case this is Things 3 and Bear, which are Apple-only.A note taking app also manage my task.
I have heard a lot about it but It looks too complicated.Probably the most flexible option is Obsidian,
It ccan be, but it can also be very, very simple. After all, it's just markdown files with linksI have heard a lot about it but It looks too complicated.
It is a good app but not for me. I don't like its reliability on plugins for every task, and I like handwriting more than typing. I have researched Obsidian and I saw that it also supports handwriting but with the help of different plugins, which I have found that is not as good as the other note taking apps, which I can understand why, because Obsidian is not meant for handwriting. So that is my opinionIt ccan be, but it can also be very, very simple. After all, it's just markdown files with links
For those of us with abysmal handwriting this is a feature not a bug or drawback. It is a good app but not for me. Yes, you are this is a feature not a drawback, and this perfect for people who prefer typing over handwriting, but as I mentioned before I prefer handwriting over typing. So can we integrate GTD methodology with handwritten note taking like goodnotes and notability? For those of us with abysmal handwriting this is a feature not a bug or drawback.
