Countries where GTD is popular

Reporting in with love, from Malaysia. :)

I think 1 of the reasons why there arent any Japanese here is because of the language barrier. Generally, Japanese doesnt communicate well in English. This is my personal opinion based on my impression of them. :) Feel free to give suggestions if you think other wise.

Do you find that many GTD apps translated locally for Asian languages?

Not sure for apps, but the books I think yes~!

My answer was referring to the forum people/activities. We all use English to communicate here. Hence, less people who are non-English speaking. And, generally, Japanese speaks poor English. :)

GTD in Norway is getting organized

Hi guys,

GTD in Norway is getting organized and you are all invited.

In Sept 2009 I set up the Oslo GTD Gathering to facilitate the Worlds First GTD Tweetup.

Oslo GTD Gathering is a grassroot gathering of GTD fans and practitioners. Membership is free of charge. The gatherings are free and you can opt out at any point.

Oslo GTD Gathering is by far the largest meetup.com group in the Getting Things Done sphere. We are now (Oct 24th 2010) 229 members and growing.

Feel free to join us at: http://www.meetup.com/oslo-gtd-gathering

Sounds like GTD has really been adopted there, is it a pan-Scandinavian take-up?

I originally posted this tread to see if it was worthwhile localizing our GTD CRM product http://www.onepagecrm.com/ for selected countries.
Would be great to get Nordic opinion on how the product would be received.

If Gosia is your user support there must be a Polish version of your product.

GTD is popular in Nigeria

There are quite a few stalwarts (including me) in Nigeria who are "spreading the gospel". A few companies have informally adopted it as a standard within the company.

Country statistics on GTD book sales - in Denmark I have bought two...

FYI--while interesting, Borys's report is about where his product is popular, and does not necessarily reflect where GTD is popular.

@Kelly: You've got a good point there - thinking of other relevant statistics, that could provide a better picture of the GTD penetration globally; would you be having some statistics of accumulated GTD book sales based on regions or countries? Could be a valuable tool for you guys and give GTD'ers an interesting map.

Anyway; here in Denmark I never physically met anyone practicing (or even heard of) GTD - I am sure, I am not alone, just can not find the others. Where are you...

I don't believe that's something we could easily get our hands on, given we are not the publisher of David's books. I bet you'll make some good connections here in the Forums though!
