'Raw' thought: In addition to Mind Like Water. . . .

If intellect's state of Mind Like Water is an appropriate primary GTD aspiration, and for chronic accomplishment, would that also require a state of volitional detachment . . . for perhaps say . . . appropriate~optimal engagement, etc. ?

All thoughts appreciated

Thank you very much

Depending on the task, optimal engagement can be a very emotional thing. Examples would be playing a musical instrument or conducting a care-taking act in a hospital.

Emotional absence is not enlightenment, but cowardice or at the very least overwhelm.

Being stubborn is a form of laziness. Too lazy to do the work of course correction. It is wishful thinking, non-acceptance of reality.

There is a middle-ground between stubbornness and resignation: it is called negotiation.

Emotions can be very good when subject to the intellect and volition, especially when is comes to empathy and sympathy in the alleviating sufferings of others, otherwise one would simply be increasing the sociopath demographics ?

Indeed . . . and as such . . . the ability to increase one's, at least on this end, albeit imperfectly, one's objective GTD system seemingly helps to increase one's ability to appropriately negotiate and adapt relative to intrinsic, extrinsic, and external realities and most appreciate what the cringing results could have otherwise been without employing some sort of objectified system like GTD, which gratefully suits this end best thus far
