You will decide eventually, so decide earlier!

For the visual thinkers out there, here's a little diagram I made to remind myself why I need to consistently decide Outcomes and Next Actions earlier in my process. Reading the little externalized thoughts in the upper diagram makes me cringe, because it's what I do when I delay (even when I know better). I hope that this visual on my wall will remind me that the only thing that will remove the growing stress and enable any forward motion is taking 10-20 seconds and deciding two simple things.

Best,
Scott

That's excellent!!

Hi Scott,

That's fantastic. I've just printed it out and stuck it up near my desk to remind me to get moving on those things I procrastinate over.

Great stuff and thanks for the post.

You did it again Scott!

Scott:

Thanks so much for this excellent graphic Scott - another amazing contribution to the GTD community. I use your other amazing contribution - the Advanced Workflow diagram - religiously - it's a key part of my Weekly Review Support folder that (ideally) sees the light of day....er....weekly!

Regards,
Peter
