All "others ideas" are simply deemed as 'Stuff' and therefore are Captured by writing down [to keep 'current' memory empty] to simply be placed into Inbox for either Trash or Organizing when Clarifying any Captured 'stuff'' in the Inbox to until the Inbox is empty of any 'stuff' !

Very Important to appreciate:

In GTD terms, everything Captured and in Inbox is considered 'stuff' until one knows what one is going to do about it for either Trash or Organize is very GTD way of thinking


You are a very good GTDer because anyone who keeps improving their GTD system is a good GTDer

Quick-Tip that might help . . . your decide whether if apply/try worthy

If any particular strategic Post-Its seems irrelevant/useless place in Tickler one-week out . . . it makes 'instant' sense then 'Re-Post' if not, then Tickler it another one-week out another week out until it makes sense or needs to be trashed ?

If one uses a Tickler uses for all it offers? :
If somethings don't intuitive sense then 'forcing' might be a waste-of-time . . . Tickler seemingly 'elusive' items for a fresh look(s) ?

Tickler is a very good tool for 'ambiguous'/'elusive' items / stuff after an appropriate effort has been engaged otherwise Tickler will become stuffed with excessive stuff ?

The simplest thing I can do is look at my digital list manager and choose 3 tasks I want to do today. Finish those 3 things. Celebrate that you finished those 3 things. Tomorrow, choose 3 more things to focus on. Over time, you will eventually finish your task list.

I also believe in reviewing the digital list manager at least once a week. Delete 1-3 things that you thought you wanted to do but you decided it is no longer important.

That will shrunk your cluttered digital list manager and make it easier to work on.
