Definitely current Projects, with the Next Action being to source 10,000 packets of Jello.Where should I put "Jello wresting pit" in Nirvana?
Thank you. Hmmm that is a lot of Jello. I think i'll put it in "Someday"D

They are nearly identical in my experience. I find that to be the case more and more with apps. No longer are web versions a weird afterthought. It seems the best GTD minds are on this thread so, off topic to this threads title and probably a stupid question, bearing in mind that I'm online just about everywhere I take my windows PC, is there any advantage of the Nirvana app over the browser. Do they have identical functionality?
I have just about completed my migration from Nirvana to Todoist, but one thing I'll say in favor of Nirvana is that it's nice that the web and PC versions have just about achieved feature parity. Makes it easy to switch between the two. They are nearly identical in my experience. I find that to be the case more and more with apps. No longer are web versions a weird afterthought.
You mentioned wanting to see the web client "briefly." Are you using the mobile app? If so, do you mind if I ask why you wanted to see the web client at all?It turns out that you can only access the web client through the desktop, not a mobile device. I don’t really use a desktop, and only wanted to see the web client briefly, so I suppose I hit an edge case that isn’t supported by nirvana when I tried to view the web client in a browser on a mobile device. I tried switching to desktop mode, but apparently that is blocked as well. Guessing that I’ll have to spoof my device in order to see the web client from a mobile device.
Hi @bcmyers2112. I see on this thread above that you had migrated to Todoist, but now seems you're back on NirvanaHQ? I too am considering Todoist or my old NirvanaHQ account (back on Windows at work and Omnifocus for Web just is not cutting it). Just curious to hear your rationale/experience as I always appreciated your insights when I came to this forum more often. CheersI am using Nirvana. I have the Windows client open right now. They are most definitely still in business. I haven't heard anything suggesting the product is going away. Quite the opposite. They recently added a developer to their staff.
I'm not sure why you couldn't find the web client. I just checked a minute ago and it's up and running. What URL are you using?
Here is where you can find help articles: https://help.nirvanahq.com/. I used the search to find instructions for emailing to Nirvana, and found this: https://help.nirvanahq.com/category.../add-your-items/#create-inbox-items-via-email.
I have no experience with Nirvana, but with Asana I can reach the web client if I choose "show desktop version" in my mobile browser. It turns out that you can only access the web client through the desktop, not a mobile device. I'm happy to share, but I don't know if I can be of much help. I've bounced back and forth between Todoist and Nirvana for a number of reasons, all of them personal. At times I've switched tools because I'd let my system go to absolute hell, and one tool was full of crud whereas the other was for me a blank slate.Hi @bcmyers2112. I've also switched between Nirvana and Todoist a couple of times. Just this week I decided I had some time and headspace available to experiment with Todoist to set it up the way I want it. I lost my enthusiasm in a day or so because I was tinkering with the filters to set up my contexts and it just feels too cumbersome.I'm happy to share, but I don't know if I can be of much help. Yes, that's what usually happens with me. It just feels too much maintenance for the system I envision (and that I already have with Nirvana). I think Todoist is great if you get the hang of setting up the projects/filters. Or having a simpler setup. From my perspective – the need to use both project lists and labels in Todoist was confusing and from time to time I did mistakes during the organizing process – so I did not feel comfortable with my system and taking care of it was more engaging than it should be.
